How I style your hair

A style that moves with you, without falling apart

In Huatulco the humidity makes hair frizz and the ocean wind moves everything. So I won’t give you a magazine style that lasts an hour: I’ll give you one that makes it to the party in one piece.

I prep your hair before using any heat tools, to protect it and help the style hold.
If your event is on the beach or outdoors, we choose a structure together that stands up to the wind.
I set it section by section, not just at the end, so it doesn’t drop halfway through the night.
If you’re wearing a headpiece, veil or accessories, bring them and I’ll place them.

Updo

Best for: High necklines or open-back dresses, hot and windy events.
Why it works here: It keeps hair off your neck and holds up best to humidity.

Half-up

Best for: Showing off your length without hair falling in your face.
Why it works here: The pinned section anchors the style even in the breeze.

Loose waves

Best for: Natural, romantic looks and beach photo shoots.
Why it works here: I set them so they soften over the hours instead of dropping.

Blow-out

Best for: A dinner, an important meeting or just feeling put-together.
Price: $570 MXN, the same as a kids’ or men’s style.

Come with clean, dry hair, with no creams, oils or styling products.
Bring photos of styles you love and one of your dress.
If you have a headpiece, comb, flowers or a veil, bring them.
Wear a button-up or zip top so you don’t mess up your hair when you change.
If your event is on the beach, tell me so we can design for the wind.

Do you come to hotels?

Yes, anywhere in Bahías de Huatulco. The travel fee is $500 MXN to Tangolunda, La Crucecita and Santa Cruz, and $600 MXN to Santa María.

Can I bring my headpiece or veil?

Of course! Bring it and I’ll place it so it stays secure and in the right spot.
