First things first
I want you to look in the mirror that day and recognise yourself
I’ve been doing hair and makeup for 15 years, and brides are my favourite. I’m not here to turn you into someone else: I want to bring out who you already are, so in your photos you look like you, just on the most beautiful day of your life.
Here in Huatulco, the sun, the humidity and the ocean wind change everything. That’s why I take my time prepping your skin, build your makeup in layers and design your hairstyle for the beach. And I’ll always be honest with you about what will and won’t work.
We’ll talk a lot before your wedding. Send me photos, ideas and questions any time. By the time the day comes, we’ll be friends.

How we’ll work together
Here’s how we’ll do it
We chat
Message me your date and venue. Send me photos of your dress and the looks you love, as many as you like.
We hold your date
A 50% deposit reserves your day just for you. It comes off your total.
Your trial
You come to the salon and we try your makeup and hair. We adjust until you say “yes, that’s me”.
Your big day
I come to your hotel or welcome you at the salon. You relax, enjoy your bridesmaids and leave the rest to me.

Slide the photo. This is how she arrived, and this is how she left on her wedding day. Notice something? She still looks like herself. That’s exactly the point.
I prep the skin first so the makeup melts into it, then build in thin layers. That way it never looks heavy in person and it lasts all day in the heat.

Pay in cash and I’ll take 10% off. Chose Basic but want a trial? The trial on its own is $3,500 MXN. Would your mom or bridesmaids like to get ready too? Makeup and hair from $2,150 MXN per person, for up to 10 people on the same day.

A little about me
I’ll treat you the way I treat my friends
I’m Isa. I grew up in Huatulco, and Studio 01 began on March 1, 2017 in the living room of my mom’s apartment: it was small, like a studio, and the apartment was number 001. That’s where the name comes from. Today the salon is in the Ziba condominiums, on the pedestrian walkway in Santa Cruz.
I run it with my husband Dorian, who has worked with me since 2020. He does men’s cuts, fades and classics, and loves a challenge, so he can take care of your groom too.
I like to listen before I pick up a brush. I’ll ask about your dress, your skin, the time of your ceremony and even how you like to look on an ordinary Sunday. All of that tells me how to do your makeup.
I speak English, and many of my brides fly in from Canada and the US. Whether you’re travelling for your wedding or your family doesn’t speak Spanish, we’ll all understand each other here.

How much is bridal hair and makeup in Huatulco?
My bridal packages start at $6,050 MXN at my salon and $6,650 MXN on location anywhere in Bahías de Huatulco. All of them include makeup, hair, lashes and a hydrating mask. Premium ($7,310) and Complete ($8,360) include your trial.
Will you come to my hotel?
Of course! I come to your hotel or villa anywhere in Bahías de Huatulco: Tangolunda, Chahué, Conejos, Santa Cruz, La Crucecita or Santa María. If your wedding is outside Bahías, tell me where and I’ll send you a quote.
Will it really last in the heat and humidity?
Yes. I prep your skin first, apply makeup in thin layers and set each one. If your ceremony is at midday or on the beach, I recommend airbrush makeup, which holds up better to sweat and humidity.
Do I need a trial?
It’s not required, but I highly recommend it, especially if you’ve never had your makeup done professionally. At the trial we decide everything together, and on your wedding day you just enjoy it. It’s included in Premium and Complete; if you chose Basic, the trial on its own is $3,500 MXN.
I live in another city or country. How do we plan this?
We talk everything through on WhatsApp, in English or Spanish: your date, your inspiration photos, the deposit and the timing. If there’s availability, we do your trial a few days before the wedding, once you’re in Huatulco. Many of my brides fly in from Canada and the US, so I know this plan well.
How do I book my date?
With a 50% deposit by bank transfer, then you send me the receipt on WhatsApp. The deposit comes off your total. Just keep in mind it isn’t refundable and can’t be moved to another date.
Can you do my mom and bridesmaids too?
Yes, happily. Makeup and hair from $2,150 MXN per person, at my salon or wherever you’re getting ready. I can get up to 10 people ready on the same day, working around your schedule; with 10 people we start at 8 am. Book it together with your package so we can plan the timing.
How do I pay?
By card, bank transfer or cash, in Mexican pesos. For makeup, hair and bridal services, paying in cash gets you 10% off.
